HOW MUCH?
We aim to make the events as accessible as possible to all who want to take part. To that end, we will only be asking for a small contribution towards the cost of venue hire and building up a stock of materials for the event - but that contribution will be completely voluntary. We don't anticipate it being more than £5, and more likely around £2.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Art Social events are small (max. 15 people) gatherings. Each event will have a nominated 'muse' whose job is to provide the inspiration for the evening - this includes setting the medium (pen, watercolour, pencil, etc.), the theme (still life, portraits, etc.) and the format (1 x one hour drawing, 2 x 30 minute drawings, etc.). Allowing 15 minutes at the start, a 10 minute break, and 15 minutes at the end, events should last around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
